Full Tilt Poker has announced that they will be awarding a $100 bonus to every player who has earned a Full Tilt Point prior to July 28th. All you have to do to earn this extra $100 is click on the “My Promotion” button in the cashier section of the Full Tilt Poker software and accept your $100 bonus. You then have 30 days to clear your bonus by playing in Full Tilt Poker tournaments and cash games. This “Biggest Bonus Ever” promotion was launched by Full Tilt to coincide with the release of Full Tilt Poker’s big software update in order to encourage players to try out the new Full Tilt Poker software.

Full Tilt has made a variety of changes to their software with this most recent update including a completely new lobby layout, more advanced filters to allow you to find the game you want more easily, lobby widgets to personalize your Full Tilt Poker software, new tournament deals options and even a new Full Tilt Poker hand replayer.

New Lobby Layouts
You can now choose between three lobby views; basic view, standard view and classic view. Basic view provides a step by step guide to finding the game you want. Standard view is the new fully featured lobby with advanced filters, favourites, a visually appealing layout and more. This is the view that most players should use. Then there is also the classic view option, which is the old Full Tilt lobby. If you aren’t a fan of change, then the classic option may be right for you.

Advanced Filters and Favourites
The new Full Tilt software has advanced filters which allow you to customize your search and find exactly the games you are looking for very easily. You can even save your search criteria as a favourite to save time in the future.

Lobby Widgets
The Full Tilt Poker lobby widgets allow you to fully personalize your Full Tilt Poker lobby. The widgets appear under the Full Tilt Poker game clock and you can choose which type of widget to have there for different searches so that you get the information you are most interested in quickly.

Full Tilt Poker Tournament Deals
Full Tilt has also included a tournament deals option in this software update. This means that you can make deals with your fellow players at the final tables of either scheduled tournaments or even sit and go’s. You can choose to make the deal based on chip ratio or independent chip modelling, but you also have the option to make a custom deal.

Full Tilt Poker Hand Replayer
The hand replayer is perhaps the biggest advantage of this Full Tilt software update. Now when you press last hand you can watch the entire hand take place rather than just see the outcome. This can be very beneficial to players because reviewing your game can only make you a better player.

Full Tilt Poker’s recent software update has made Full Tilt’s lobby extremely easy to navigate and the update also added many new and interesting features to the Full Tilt software. You should try out the software and see for yourself. Also, don’t forget to accept the $100 bonus from Full Tilt. It’s free money, so there is no reason for you not to take it!

December 2, 2008 (InfoPowa News) — The major online poker websites PokerStars.com and Full Tilt Poker.com continued to attract large numbers to Sunday tournaments this week, generating impressive prize pools and high value prizes to the winners.

At PokerStars, Peter “twirlpro” Turmezy took down the top prize of almost $200,000, with his heads up opponent ‘fratzl‘ also taking home a six-figure paycheck worth some $132,176. The Sunday Millions tourney in which they competed attracted an entry field of 8,001 players, up 246 from the week prior, and generated a prize pool of $1.6 million.

Full Tilt’s $750,000 Guaranteed event also recorded increased entries with 3,668 sign-ups, but this still did not make the guarantee and FT had to put up the $16,400 balance. David “Doc Sands” Sands faced ‘andressoprano’ in the heads up, winning the event to claim the $132,787 first-place prize. His opponent collected a check for $80,250 for his second placing.

October 30, 2008 (InfoPowa News)

One of the world’s top poker pros, 34-year-old Monaco-based Gus “The Great Dane” Hansen, has been causing havoc in the big money online poker action at Full Tilt.com, earning a million dollars in a single day at one stage, reports the HighStakesDb.com poker information site. And playing against some of the best players around on Full Tilt, his October 2008 earnings thus far have reached $3.2 million.

On Monday night alone, Hansen won more than $589,000 at Hold ‘em, $145,000 in PLO, $152,000 in Omaha Hi/Lo, and $97,000 in a HORSEgame, demonstrating a mastery of the diverse poker styles and rules.

Originally from Copenhagen in Denmark, Hansen is famous for his loose and aggressive style of play, and started playing poker as a professional in 1997. Before that he was a world-class backgammon player who tried to make a living at the game in New York and abroad but found the pickings too slim.

In his outstanding poker career The Great Dane can boast a long record of wins in significant tournaments. He has won a record three World Poker Tour open titles, the 2007 Aussie Millions main event, and was the season one winner of the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament. His official career winnings recently topped $5,837,633, and he describes his approach to the game as: “I play the players, not the cards.”
